On this page we have compiled information about the Life groups that are a part of the New Hope outreach/second site ministry in Johnston. We hope to connect people with new groups of friends and support systems for the everyday occurrences of life. We remind everyone that our ultimate foundation is found in Jesus Christ and the Bible, but we realize that to experience the fullness of God’s love and healing in the midst of life’s situations we need to be cared for in Christian community or Life group.

Friday Night Fellowship: (Happy Hour) 
There is a new Life Group in Johnston. It will meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month from 6:00 – 7:30 PM (The Friday before the Saturday Worship). This will be a very informal, relaxed gathering, where everyone brings food and drink to share. Kids are welcome. There will be time for fellowship from 6:00-6:30 and then have a video study at 6:30 PM. Beginning in October we will be looking at a video/book called Crazy Love

Faith in a Post-Modern World: This group is digging in to current events and news worth subjects nationally and globally and considering what Scripture has to say about our culture, communities, and social choices. They wrestle with real world issues in biblical fashion and consider how God calls us to live in the Post-Modern World. If you have questions, or just wonder what God thinks of our world today, this might be a perfect group to check out.

Traveling Group: (World Religions)
Looking for a group that meets at different houses, and has child care provided in the basement? Looking for a group that gathers for the social and relational support aspect as much as for the faith growth? This group may be just the thing for you. This group will take a look at what major religions of the world believe. An engaging topic and a fun group.
